Thanks to the Friends of the Library, we were able to pick up $150 of new materials at the Borders liquidation sale. These seventeen items include three kids and teens audiobooks and some new software and programming guides, as well as adult fiction.
Darth Paper Strikes Back in the sequel to Origami Yoda, while we are Wonderstruck by the new venture from Hugo Cabret author Selznick.
Sherlock Holmes triumphs again in The Pirate King, while Linda Howard returns with new Prey. Eoin Colfer of the Artemis Fowl series makes his adult debut with Plugged.
Several classics have been added to our DVD collection including Disney's Cinderella and Lady and the Tramp, Charade (with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, and E.T.

My personal favorite of the new materials this month is You will be my Friend, a picture book detailing the lengths to which Lucy the bear (ofChildren make terrible pets) will go to make a friend.
